Albina Jimenez Soriano (piano)
The first concert of 2020 will be a piano recital. Albina is a very talented local musician and will be performing a delightful recital of Spanish and Spain-influenced classical music at All Saints Church on Saturday 25th January 2020.
A classical pianist and a Masters graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. Albina currently works as a Head of Music at Langdon Academy in Newham.

This concert has been arranged by the Halex Concert Society (part of HPPG) working with All Saints Church to raise money for the maintenance fund for repairs to All Saints Church.

D. Scarlatti – Sonata in F minor, K. 239;
D. Scarlatti – Sonata in D minor, K. 213;
Ravel – Alborada del gracioso (from Miroirs);
Albéniz – Evocación (from Iberia);
Kórsakov – Capriccio espagnol (3rd and 4th movements).
2nd half (approx. 40 mins.):
Bach – Sarabande from Partita nº. 6 in E minor;
Liszt – La romanesca;
Albéniz – Triana (from Iberia);
Debussy – La soirée dans Granade (from Estampes);
Liszt – Rapsodie Espagnole.
