This year the fayre will consist of a Food Market in the Station Car Park and a Craft Market in Signal Walk (by Tesco), with the usual Massed Carol Singing in Signal Walk at 4:00 pm.
The Food Market in the Station Car Park has around 20 food and drink stalls serving hot and cold food including fresh and cooked meats, hot chocolate, breads, cheeses, wines, hampers and treats. There will also be free children’s rides.
The Craft Market in Signal Walk has over 30 stalls with a wide range of arts & craft/gift stalls, as well as mulled wine, chestnuts and much more. There will be live entertainment starting at 12 noon with the 17th Pal’s Battalion Band, who will be marching from the station car park to Signal Walk and then a variety of local entertainers will be performing throughout the afternoon.
Just before the carols start at 4:00 pm Tesco will be giving out free mince pies, just before the carols in Signal Walk; down the far end by Blaze Gym.
This event was organised by The Highams Park Planning Group (HPPG) with funding provided by Waltham Forest Council under the ‘Welcome back Funding’ financing initiative arranged by HM Government and the European Union – European Regional Development Fund.
