Highams Park Food Aid (HPFA), also known as the Hub, is a volunteer led food bank based at All Saints Church, Highams Park. We help and support those experiencing food poverty in the E4 area.
We are seeing to appoint a part time Hub Manager to run the day-to-day operation of the Hub. This will include managing our team of over 70 volunteers, managing our two food delivery sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday and our Free Café on a Wednesday, and undertaking the administration required to run the Hub. You will also be a full Member and Secretary of the HPFA management committee.
Ideally with some management experience, particularly of volunteers, and with excellent administration skills, you will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and generating social media and web content. We understand though that this a broad role and will be happy to support the right candidate to develop the full range of skill they need.
The working hours are 16 hours per week, with essential core hours on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (fuller details are in the Job Description) The Salary is £28,875 pa (pro rata) which includes the equivalent of 4 weeks annual leave.
