Zine making is the practice of creating and self-publishing independent, small-batch booklets or magazines. Rooted in a “do-it-yourself” (DIY) ethos, zines can cover any topic—from personal journals and art to political manifestos and comics—and are usually assembled by hand using collage, drawing, or digital design.
