1. About Highams Park Food Aid – Latest Newsletter
Highams Park Food Aid was set up to provide food to people in Highams Park and Chingford who needed support in obtaining food supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of the COVID-19 lock down restrictions have been lifted but many people are still in need and Highams Park Food Aid continues to support them.

We are a joint venture between local community organisations and you can find out more about us in our latest newsletter by clicking on the link below.

2. Financial Donations for Food Supplies
Highams Park Food Aid  is working closely with the Borough and food banks and the local Covid19 Support Groups to get immediate food supplies delivered to vulnerable families and those with no other support networks. If you are able to support this vital work financially, please donate directly to:

Every penny of your donation will enable us to supply food to vulnerable families. If you are entitled to claim gift aid please fill in the form on this link Gift Aid Declaration and drop it off in the porch of the Vicarage, 12A Castle Avenue, E4 9QD, or if you can’t leave the house email it to highamsparkfoodaid@gmail.com
Failing that we can arrange to collect the form, if you email your address to highamsparkfoodaid@gmail.com
Note: Any donations remaining when this service is no longer necessary will be given to the charity “Heat or Eat”. 
3. Food Donations
If you would like to make food donations we can accept these at the Mallinson Scout Centre, Charter Road, IG8 6RE (opposite the end of Tamworth Avenue) between 11am -1 pm on a Tuesday and Thursday.
Or you can drop off food donations anytime at the bins located at:

All donations are gratefully accepted but at the moment we would particularly appreciate donations of:
    • Fresh fruit and veg
    • Tinned veg
    • Tinned potatoes
    • Tinned tomatoes
    • Cous cous (less need for rice or pasta as we have lots of this in stock already)
    • Pulses
    • Tinned meals (e.g. fray bentos pies, tinned meat balls or chilli etc.)

4. Volunteer
