1. Highams Park Food Aid – How to request food deliveries
Highams Park Food Aid has been set up to supply free pre-prepared meals and food packages to local people who cannot leave their houses during these difficult times.
It is sponsored and managed jointly by: All Saints Church – Highams Park, Hornbeam, Highams Park Covid 19 Volunteers and Waltham Forest Scouts.
If you need assistance with food supplies during these difficult times or know of someone else that needs assistance obtaining food supplies, please complete the request form on this link www.tinyurl.com/HPFoodAid-RequestForm and Highams Park Food Aid will get in touch with you.
The meals and food packages will be supplied and delivered for free but if you can afford to pay, please make a voluntary donation to help keep this service going using the details provided below.
2. Financial Donations for Food Supplies
Highams Park Food Aid is working closely with the Borough and food banks and the local Covid19 Support Groups to get immediate food supplies delivered to vulnerable families and those with no other support networks. If you are able to support this vital work financially, please donate directly to:

3. Food Donations
If you would like to make food donations we can accept these at the Mallinson Scout Centre, Charter Road, IG8 6RE (opposite the end of Tamworth Avenue) between 11am -1 pm on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
We have also now established some food drop off points listed in the graphic below:
At least 200 meals go out every time we are open and over 300 on a Saturday, so we are getting through large volumes of food and demand is still increasing, so please continue to support us in any way you can. If you want to know what is needed join our email circulation, which we send out 3 times a week informing you what we are short of. To sign up please email email@example.com
4. Volunteers for food deliveries

If you are suffering from domestic abuse, please find below details of how you can obtain assistance.
And finally, some thank yous
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to McRae’s Estate Agents, Providus Financial Services and Samaritan’s Purse who have both made substantial donations and to everyone else who has donated what they can, particularly our regular donors.
We would also like to thank Morrisons, who have been truly amazing supporters, a special shout out to Kirsten at Chingford Morrisons without her we wouldn’t have been able to do what we do. And to our other food suppliers, be they individuals, other food banks, charities or businesses. And finally, to thank to Toni at Humphry’s Café who readily handed us a set of keys so we can use all their fridge and freezer space. Every day people in the Park ask us if were reopening, so we know you are truly missed!
We do still need your help though. Every week we get more referrals, some with really desperate stories to tell, and it just shows us there are still more people out there we need to reach and help. Just last week within a 24-hour period we had 33 new referrals. Please keep spreading the word – it’s not too late to sign up, just fill in the form, we’ll phone you to confirm what you need and food will start arriving.
