2. How to Apply for Food Aid
Highams Park Food Aid does not accept direct applications you need to be referred by a referee. Your referee can apply for you by completing our online application form or by printing off and completing a pdf copy of the form.

  • Probation Officer
  • Refuges
  • Credit Union Officer
  • Trades Union Officer
  • Local Political Party Officer
  • Migrant Organisation
  • Officer of any other Welfare Institution

If you don’t have anyone who can refer you, please contact us on highamsparkfoodaid@gmail.com and we will advise you what to do.

3. About Highams Park Food Aid – Latest Newsletter
Highams Park Food Aid was set up to provide food to people in Highams Park and Chingford who needed support in obtaining food supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of the COVID-19 lock down restrictions have been lifted but many people are still in need and Highams Park Food Aid continues to support them.

4. Financial Donations for Food Supplies
Highams Park Food Aid  is working closely with the Borough and food banks and the local Covid19 Support Groups to provide food supplies to vulnerable families and people with no other support networks. If you are able to support this vital work financially, please donate directly to:

Every penny of your donation will enable us to supply food to vulnerable families. If you are entitled to claim gift aid please fill in the form on this link Gift Aid Declaration and drop it off in the porch of the Vicarage, 12A Castle Avenue, E4 9QD, or if you can’t leave the house email it to highamsparkfoodaid@gmail.com

5. Food Donations
All donations are gratefully accepted but at the moment we would particularly appreciate donations of:
  • UHT Milk – Whole and Semi-Skimmed
  • Non-Dairy UHT Milk – Nut, Coconut, Soy or Oat
  • Fresh Fruit and Vegetables (but NOT potatoes, carrots, onions, apples and bananas)
  • 500g bags of Rice, preferably Basmati
  • Alpro Yoghurts
  • Tinned Fish
  • Tinned Meats – meat balls, corned beef, minced beef
  • Fray Bentos Pies or equivalent
  • Instant Mashed Potato
  • Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate
  • Herbal Teas
If you would like to make food donations we can accept these at All Saints Church, Church Avenue, E4 9QD  between 10.30 am and 1 pm each Tuesday and Thursday.
