To mark the 150th anniversary of the railway coming to Highams Park on 17th November 1873 the Railway Heritage Trust commissioned a commemorative plaque for Highams Park Station. The plaque will be unveiled on Saturday 25th May.
To support the occasion HPPG has arranged for the Old Pal’s Battalion Band to perform and a mini food market in the Station Car Park. This is a free family event all are welcome.
Timings:
· Mini Food Market – 10am until 4pm
· Old Pal’s Battalion – Band 11:15 am to 11:45 am
· Unveiling of plaque – 11:30am
