Humphry’s café has opened up to the public again with comprehensive COVID controls. If you pop into Humphry’s you’ll see that we have restarted the art exhibitions again and our first artist to feature is Bea Taylor. You can see a few samples of Bea’s work below but first here’s a little “bio” about Bea.

Bea is a well-known local artist, and this is her third exhibition at Humphry’s. The exhibition was originally scheduled for April but due to the COVID 19 pandemic it had to be postponed until now. In this exhibition Bea has displayed a range of wildlife in different media including some beautiful Australian birds inspired by the awful fires in Australia that devastated large tracts of wildlife habitat.

Following a successful career as an editorial make-up artist Bea now splits her time between motherhood, voluntary community work and drawing, particularly pet commissions.

Sadly, Bea has now to Leicestershire 😢 and the huge contribution she has made in supporting activities and events in the Highams Park community will be much missed. We hope Bea will stay in touch and she will always be welcome back to exhibit at Humphry’s again in the future.

Prices for the work on display are noted on the pictures and you can place an order at the counter, or you can contact Bea by emailing beaburton@hotmail.com

Here’s a couple tasters of the work in Bea’s exhibition, if you are passing by do pop in and admire the rest of her work.

If you are interested in buying one of Bea’s pictures or would like to commission her to do some work for you there are more details at:
