Ralitsa Arnaudova

A few words from Ralitsa:
“I’m a Bulgarian watercolor artist based in the UK. I started painting 5 years ago after I found myself burning out from work and craving for something more exciting in my life. When I learned that we were expecting our first child, I was even more excited to pursue this creative endeavour and turn it into a full-time job. Now I am represented in 2 Galleries, attend local markets and cafes, where you can come and see my work in person. I also teach online and in-person art classes, and I have a wholesale and licensing portfolio.

My work is inspired by the beauty of the natural world. I paint everything nature-inspired, from misty mountains and rolling hills to vibrant, ever-changing seas, skies, and wildlife animals.

Painting for me is a mindful practice, a way to slow down, observe, and connect. With a background in psychology, I use art as a form of self-expression and calm reflection, focusing on movement, light, and atmosphere rather than detail. Each brushstroke is about capturing a feeling rather than perfection, allowing the watercolor to flow freely and surprise us along the way.

Through my paintings, I hope to invite others to pause, breathe, and rediscover a sense of peace and presence in nature’s simple moments.
Feel free to come to Humphry’s to browse my work in person and find a thoughtful and unique gift for a special person or your own home, that will last for a lifetime.

You can also enjoy a lovely walk in the park and a meal or a drink at the Café.”
