The Council has responded to HPPG’s Letter of 20th February requesting they challenge the Inspector’s grant of approval for the James Yard development in the High Court. They do not believe there are legal grounds for them to challenge the decision.
We do not have the resources to challenge the decision ourselves as an application to the High Court costs £10,000 and the legal costs on top of that are likely to be very substantial, so there is nothing more we can do to stop the development going ahead.
