As neighbourhood policing week of action approaches, our local neighbourhood policing team are holding a community event for Highams Park residents at Humphry’s Cafe on 29 January 2023, from 11am – 2pm. All are welcome to attend.
Children and adults can see the police vehicles and equipment used to tackle local crime and even try on police uniforms and handcuffs!
Light refreshments and hot drinks will be provided, with free crime prevention materials given away, along with valuable advice on how to prevent crime.
Officers will take regular walks through The Highams Park and Epping Forest to reduce the fear of crime, as well as holding walk and talk sessions where residents can discuss police work and learn about the steps being taken to prevent crime in our area.
