HPPG has been advised that Mammoth Construction has now submitted a planning application and supporting papers to the Council for the redevelopment of the Regal site. We haven’t seen the full proposal yet, as the Council has yet to undertake its due diligence and validate the application, but we understand that it is along the lines of the consultation in December 2022 and will include a two-screen cinema with refreshment facilities and flats on the upper floors. We will let you know when we hear more but it looks like things are starting to move now.
