Please see below for a summary of the planning appeal
HPPG and many local residents objected to this development proposal when it was proposed in August 2021  and the Council refused the planning application.

The developer, Atlantis Highams, subsequently appealed to the planning inspector requesting that the Council’s refusal be overturned.

The Highams Park Planning Group (HPPG) submitted a letter of objection to the Planning Inspector contesting the grounds on which Atlantis Highams has appealed to the Planning Inspector requesting the inspector to overturn the decision by Waltham Forest Council to refuse their planning application for a seven storey block of flats immediately behind Highams Park Station.
