The event begins with a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing – an eye-opening 50-minute film with insights from scientists and other experts, as well as reflections from famous UK voices and citizens. It covers topics such as:

Extreme weather

Food security

Health

Cost of living

After the film there will be facilitated table discussions inviting your views on what it means for our community and what we can do.

All local ward councillors are invited. The organisers are optimistic they will join with constituents for this important discussion about our future.

Bring a friend, neighbour or family member: everyone is welcome.

The church welcomes walk-ins but has limited seating, so registration is encouraged. If you are unable to attend, please let the organisers know so they can manage a waitlist.

Teas, coffees and snacks will be provided.

Please note, the film has a 16+ content guidance. Younger teenagers are welcome with a parent or guardian.
