Join us for the finale of the three-month Highams Park Season of Music programme, featuring Choirs, Steel-Pan Bands, Rock, Opera, Bagpipes and two fabulous interactive African Drumming workshops.

Supported by Yaz Turkish Restaurant (located on Signal Walk), the event will
showcase local craft stalls, balloon modelling, face painting and much more to
entertain the whole community.

Ian Brown, the local author of the popular Albert The Tortoise and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg books will be at the event from 12 noon onwards with children’s storytelling sessions between 1:30pm and 2:30pm in the children’s play area.
Highams Park has been the centre of a three-month programme of live music, taking place across the summer, running from Saturday 4 th July to Saturday 3 rd October, linking local musicians and music organisations to local independent al-fresco businesses in the town centre, providing a summer-season of outdoor music pop-ups, events and happenings.
The programme has been part of the GLA (Greater London Authority) Summer
Streets initiative and was developed in partnership between local community
organisations, including HPPG, and the Waltham Forest Regeneration team.
Programme aims:
Supporting local businesses, raising awareness and increasing customer
footfall
Creating opportunities for live music
Supporting local musicians and music organisations
Positioning Highams Park as a destination for eating and entertainment
