Message from The Highams Park Planning Group (HPPG)
We are unable to comment on the proposal at this stage as we have not reviewed the consultation documents but we can advise that Tailored Living Solutions have purchased two sites in James Yard, being:
• the Atlantis Highams site (the brown brick buildings running along Larkshall Road to Breeze restaurant) which currently has approval for a mixture of 5, 6 and 7 storey buildings and a new station entrance; and
• the Sherrygreen homes development running from Wilton Place along the railway line which has approval for two six storey blocks.

Between them the two existing approvals provide a mixture of ground floor retail and one-hundred-and-fourteen 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.

In summary, the new proposal is to combine these two sites together to provide a collection of six-storey buildings, broadly consistent with the height and scale of the consented schemes. There will be retail provision and a new station entrance along Larkshall Road and approximately 360 co-living/studio rental apartments.

Everyone is welcome to go along and comment.

Please note:  this is a pre-planning application consultation and you will have another opportunity to comment on the final proposal before it is presented to the Council’s planning committee.
