As part of the 2024 HP Arts Trail the popular John Ongom Big Band will be performing at All Saints Church. This is a fund raising concert and the net proceeds from the concert will be donated to Highams Park Food Aid.
With Cynthia Simmonds as vocalist they will be performing An eclectic selection of Swing, jazz, Latin and more…. from the last 90 years – give or take!

Concert Starts: 7:30 pm
Tickets: £15.00 (under 18’s £2.00).Tickets can be bought on the door but tickets can be purchased in advance and for £12.50 from V&A Books in The Avenue, or by email to HalexConcertsE4@gmail.com or by phone 020 8527 6227.
Wine and non-alcoholic refreshments will be available to purchase in the interval.

THE JOHN ONGOM BIG BAND
Musical Director: Angus Moncrieff
The John Ongom Big Band is a community band based in Leytonstone, made up of a
mixture of professional and amateur musicians. It was founded in 2002 by tenor player John Ongom. John sadly passed away in 2018 – but his band goes on!
Musical Director Angus Moncrieff is a composer and trumpet player. He has orchestrated for numerous TV shows including Ripper Street, The Collection and Agatha Christie’s Marple, and has toured all over the UK, Europe, Brazil and Mexico with festival favorite’s Molotov Jukebox.
