This year’s Spring Festival will be from 11.30 am until 4.30pm on Sunday 17th May and will be a free to attend family fun day in The Highams Park IG8 9RB (near to Highams Park Lake) .
Please try and walk to the event, as car parking in the stretch of The Charter Road between Falmouth Avenue and Tamworth Avenue will be suspended on the day to prevent traffic congestion and vehicle access to Tamworth Avenue will be closed to non-residents. Please follow these instructions or you may be fined and towed away.
As well as a variety of food, drink and craft/gift stalls there will be displays and entertainments with something for all ages including the following:
- Shire Horse displays
- Classic Car Show
- Food stalls
- Alcoholic & non alcoholic refreshments
- Craft stalls and more
- Live music by local musicians
- Fairground rides
- Maypole and folk dancing
- Coconut shy
- Pelt a Pal
- Face Painting
- Other games and entertainments
