Care Highams Park holds an annual ‘Christmas Inn’ at Winchester Road Methodist Church to provide a meal and entertainment on Christmas Day for folk who would otherwise be on their own. Sadly, they have lost some of their helpers for Care Highams Park this year, for various reasons. They urgently need help with filling vacancies if the Christmas Inn is to go ahead this December. More about the Christmas Inn – On Christmas Day anyone living in Waltham Forest who is going to be alone is invited to celebrate as a guest Winchester Road Methodist Church. Open to elderly couples, single parents with children, individuals and people with disabilities, completely free of charge, transport provided.
