Local artist Bea Taylor held the first exhibition at Humphry’s when it opened in April 2018. It was a beautiful and very popular exhibition of birds and wildlife. Bea then ran a second exhibition in October 2018 displaying some of her wonderful and charismatic dog portraits.
We have included some of Bea’s pictures from the exhibitions below as a reminder of her beautiful work.

A little about Bea Taylor
Bea Taylor has drawn for ever, and happily seized the opportunity to work local bird life in colour and ink for this project, her usual medium being graphite. In presenting the wildlife exhibition Bea said:
“I wanted to portray the delicate nature of the wildlife surrounding us each day here in the beautiful surroundings of the park. We are so fortunate to now have a perfect indoor environment to compliment this special place, where we may sit and contemplate in comfort whilst nature breathes around us.”
Following a successful career as an editorial make-up artist Bea now splits her time between motherhood, voluntary community work and drawing, particularly pet commissions.
