‘Dress To Please’ is an upbeat, feel good summer pop track that was created as a response to address cat-calling, sexual harassment and unnecessary vulgar or negative comments thrown particularly at women on a daily basis. It intends to give power and confidence back to anyone who has felt subject to these situations whatever gender, size or background you may be from (similarly to Lizzo’s ‘About Damn Time’). Official Shannon hopes this track gives reassurance to everyone that they can indeed dress how they like. The empowering new single, Dress To Please, came out on to all digital music streaming platforms on 22nd July 2022 which quickly caught the attention of BBC Music Introducing.
